Today at Wilderness Skills, we had a Frog Racing Competition. In First Period, Julia Downey win with Mr. Toad. In Second Period, Cella Perullo won with Lord Swimmington. Also, all of G-2 kissed a snake. In Third Period, Riley Jackson won with Froakie. In Fourth period, Maddie Swartz won with Mr. Toad.
At Swimming today, the boys attempted to come out victorious at “Rat, Rabbit, Raccoon.” From B-2, Gage Howard got 1st and Chi Hallford got 2nd. Will Sedenik and Hayden Wood tied for 1st in “Red Light, Green Light.” From B-3, Noah Miller got 1st and Greyson Williams got 2nd. From B-4, Haig Lee got 1st and Tucker Gibson got 2nd. Tucker also won “Red Light, Green Light.” From B-5, James Garrett got 1st and Waylon McLean got 2nd.
Today the girls came down to Riflery and we had to high scores of the day! In First and Second Period everyone shot and had a great time. In Third Period, Hadley Meyer shot a 28 and Harper Africk shot a 27 and a 30. In Fourth Period, Gracie McCord shot a 31 and Emmy Stewart shot a 29.
Today the boys played some Sprouts and the winner of the “ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta” was Jax Bloodworth.
Today at team sports the boys came down and we played some Capture The Chicken! The winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Max Weaver.
Today on Court 1, the McBallers took on the Jaguars. The McBallers ended the season undefeated with Griffin McCormack playing like a whole unit. From the Jaguars, Everett Wos played like Dora the Explorer in her prime.
On Court 2, Fiedler’s Fighting Fish beat the Boon Squad in a heated game of Newcomb. From the Fish, Elon Perullo played like a sneaky catfish and from the Squad, Will Sedenik was the squadron leader.
Today at the Camp Mac Green, G-3 came down to play a little Putt-Putt! Walker Searcy, Lealand Crawford, Skylar Davis, Grace Kieser, and Hendee Hayes all got a hole in one! We also had a Dropout Competition and Lucy Long was the winner!
Today at fishing, Mary Mac Smith caught 1 fish and Eliza Gannon caught 3 fish and kissed 1.
Today at Tramps, G-1 and G-5 came down and we had high jump competition. Reese Whitehurst and Rylie Wheeler tied for first!
From the Dining Hall This morning, we had Daylight Donuts with bacon, eggs, grits, and fresh fruit. For lunch, we had BLT sandwiches and a salad bar. And to end the day, we had pizza with hot wings and a salad bar.
Patrick Bingham gave our message tonight. Daily Bible Reading Ribbons were also awarded to 6-Day-Campers who read their bible every night while they were at camp.
We had Talent Night! Performances were done by Francie Alias, Walton Flemming with Charlie Bracken, Mack Gunn, Riley Wheeler, Millie Dubroc, Ben Estabrook, Grady Coder, Ann Deas, Maclin Smith, The Barbie Girls (Gage Howard, Erik Eynon, and Hayden Wood), “The Cheer Squad” (Hendee Hayes Alias, Callie Stewart, Lucy Longo and Harrison Sosebee), The Tumbling Sisters (Julia Downey and Brady Wall), James Garrett, Avery Andress, Hillary McLeod, Reese Connor, Ella Vann, Charlie Bracken, Murfee Wooten with Riley Jackson, Emmy Stewart, Grace McCord, Hunter Connoly, and Kirksey Heard. Leeland Adams helped Wesley back in the booth with music.
