Morning Activities

Fun and Games

Today at fun and games, we had Camp Mac Wheel of Fortune. In first period, the Cheese-less Cheeseburgers won with 26,500 points. From second period, the Capitalists won with 25,000 points. In third period, the Raider Haters won with 22,000 points. Lastly, Chinna Cheese won with 25,000 points in 4th period.

The winner of the ratta-tatta ratta-tatta, win a big-ole cowboy hatta... was Murray Lorberbaum!

Skiing

Today at Upper Lake, we had some passoffs...

Goodwin Wos- 1st class wakeboard
Charlie Oberliesen- 3rd class wakeboard
James Ahern- 3rd class wakeboard
Banks Lunsford- 3rd class kneeboard

... and we had some first-time skiers: Beck Bradham and Banks Bradham!

Down at lower lake skiing, we had a paddle board race. Team 2 won with Matthew Bacon, Bennett Masters, Brooks Bowers, Everett Murphy, Brooks Bullen, Jack Frischhertz, and Mills Hecht.

Swimming

Today at swimming, the boys came down to the pool, and we played some rat, rabbit, raccoon!

For Varsity, the runner-up was Webber Moss, and the winner was Dutch Sparks. In third period, the runner-up was Everett Murphy, and the winner was Ham Ezell.

For the Homesteaders, we did a competition to see who could get down the slide the fastest. In 3rd place was Tate Bush with 5.26 seconds. In 2nd place, we had a tie between Reid Newsom and Mills Hecht with 5.16 seconds. In 1st place, we had another tie between Brooks Bowers and Ham Ezell with 4.96 seconds.

Riflery

Today at riflery, the girls came to the range, and we had some pass-offs and high scores!

Team Sports

Today at Team Sports, the boys came down and we played some bombardment!

From JV, the MVP was Atticus Crawford. For the Hotshots, the MVP was Abram Gerrald. From Varsity, the MVP was Pierson Kirk, and from the Rookies, the MVP was Finn Watson.

The MVP from the Moonshiner was George Rodriguez. From the Whippersnappers, the MVP was Hampton Ashley. From the Homesteaders, the MVP was Brooks Bullen, and from the Mavericks, the MVP was Richard Brignac.

And the winner of the winna-winna-chicken-dinna was Everett Wos!

Today at the Camp Mac Green, G-5 came down and had a hole-in-one competition.

Mountain Biking

Today at boys' mountain biking, we did bike tag, and the winner was Winn Samford!

Tennis

Today at girls' tennis, we played some pickleball, and the winners were Cat Brown and Liz Robinson.

At boys' tennis, we played King of the Court, and the winners were Dutch Sparks and Eli Bernstein. We also finished up our pickleball tournament from yesterday, and the winners were Dutch Sparks and Eli Bernstein again!

League Games

Today on the slick court one, Will's Water Moccasins took down Al's John Porks in a nail-biting game of volleyball. For the John Porks, Walker Erickson played awesome. For the Water Moccasins, Brooks Bowers played like a young Will Kell.

Today on the slippery court two, Judson's Bulls overcame Adam's Athletes. From the Bulls, Hayes Quattlebaum played like a prime Murray Seifert. From the Athletes, Owen Henson played athletically.

Today on the muddy field one, Matt's Mashed Potatoes murked Collin's Cosmic Brownies in an intense game of softball. From the Potatoes, Thomas Cox played like Barry Bonds, and for the Cosmic Brownies, Jackson Knighton played like a boss.

Today on the soggy field two, Richard's Ratatouilles took down Hayden's Hippies in a nail-biting game of softball. From the Ratatouilles, Dixon McCloy played out-of-this-world! From the Hippies, Mason Lark played swell. Today on the slippery frisbee field, Sam's Superb Seagulls destroyed Jack's Jolly Jack-O-Lanterns in a not-so-nail-biting game of ultimate frisbee. From the Seagulls, Robert Doss played amazingly. From the Jack-O-Lanterns, Henry Swann played like a graceful swan.                                                                                                                                

Vespers

Tonight, Emma Moose gave our vespers message.

From the Dining Hall This morning, we had sausage, eggs, grits, and biscuits. For lunch, we had ham sandwiches with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, dill spears, and chips. We also had a salad bar and PB&Js. For dessert, we had chocolate chip cookies. For dinner, we had sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and egg rolls! We also had a salad bar and PB&Js. For dessert, we had vanilla cake with chocolate frosting.

Tonight for Night Rec...

The Mini and Junior campers had cabin competitions! The 7th and 8th graders had swing dancing, and the other Senior campers were at the pool!
