From the Dining Hall

This morning we woke up and had Pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit, juice, milk, and assorted cereals. For lunch, we had BLTs, potato chips, PB&J, a salad bar, and banana pudding for dessert. For dinner, we had roast beef, baby potatoes, fried okra, and yeast rolls. A salad bar and chocolate cake was available.

Rappelling Trip

The 9th graders that have been rappelling on our wall all term rode up to Cheaha State Park and rappelled at the Rock Gardens.

Hole-in-one contest winner - Margret Adkins made three.

League Games

Today, the boys had their League Games championship games to compete for the Steak Dinner!

Court 1, Campbell’s Soup cooked Will Kell’s Will Kells in an uncomfortably close game of volleyball. From Campbell’s Soup, Robert Huffaker played like a wet noodle. From the Will Kells, Lukas Yi played like a young Johnny Manziel.

Court 2, Brady’s Cavemen are Bananas sliced and diced Slade’s Savage Slayers with Wyatt Long being as clutch as Tom Brady against the Falcons, and McGregor Tuten played like he was in a Gatorade commercial.

Cabin Time

While the boys were playing League Games, the girls had Cabin Time!

G-4 went to the Wet Willie.
G-3 went to the Blob.
G-2 went to the Bucking Bull.
G-1 went to the Iceberg.
Oak Ridge & Lake Cabin went to the Pool.
G-0 went to the Obstacle Course.

Vespers

Tonight, Our speakers were Virginia Anderson & Katie Fish, and our choir was B-2.
