Morning Activities

Team Sports

Today at Team Sports, we played some Flag Football with the girls. In 1st period with JV, Julia’s Team won. In 2nd period with Varsity, Julia’s Team won again. Lastly, in 3rd period with the Hotshots, Tilghman’s Team took the dub.

The winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Marissa Smith!

Horseback

Today at Horseback, we did some Barrel Racing and Cow Soccer with the Boys! From the Rough Riders, Liam Baker came in 1st with a time of 21.1 seconds. In 2nd was Erik Windness with a time of 24 seconds. And in 3rd place was Philip Bove with a time of 25 seconds. Wheeley’s Group won Cow Soccer with a total of 119 points.

From the Drovers, Gaines Kinney came in 1st with a time of 26.65 seconds. Following in 2nd was Joseph Rhodes with a time of 27.98 seconds. In 3rd place was Warner Sheppard with a time of 30.18 seconds. Sophie’s group won Cow Soccer with a whopping 43 points.

From the Wranglers, our winner was Charlie Abenoja with a time of 26.23 seconds on Chuck. In 2nd place with a time of 27.93 seconds on Duck was Anderson King. Finishing off in 3rd place was Cooper Bounds with a time of 28.26 seconds on Duck. For Cow Soccer, Schmidt’s group demolished the competition with their 87 points.

Riflery

Today at Riflery, the boys came on over to the Range and had another amazing day of shooting!

Fun and Games

Today at Fun and Games, the girls did Ultimate Waterfront. Second period finished in 1st place with a time of 26 minutes and 58 seconds. First period finished in 2nd place with a time of 33 minutes and 16 seconds. And in 3rd place was third period with a time of 42 minutes and 38 seconds.

The winner of the “ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta” was Sadie Louise Schramm!

Electives

Adventure

Today at Adventure, the girls had a competition to see who could climb the furthest on the Rock Wall. Tied for 3rd place, making it up 7 panels was Ashley Davis and Eden Parker. In 2nd place with 8 panels was Rylie Wheeler. And in 1st place was Mary Jennings Gross with 10 panels!

Tramps

Today at Tramps, the boys bounced on over and passed off some classes.

Putt-Putt

Today at Putt-Putt, we had a Horseshoe Tournament and our winner was Drew Peele!

Today at Girls Putt-Putt, we also had a Horseshoe Tournament and the winner was Bailey Simpson.

Tennis

Today at Girls Tennis, we played some Pickleball and Jacqueline Stubbs and Charlotte Bell won the most games. We also played some Cricket in the Cage and Queen of the Court. For Cricket in the Cage, our winners were Jacqueline Stubbs and Katie Kirkpatrick. For Queen of the Court, Katie Kirkpatrick dominated the competition.

Fishing

Today at Fishing, the boys came on down to the Ole Camp Mac Fishing Hole and caught some fish. Henry Swann caught and kissed 2 fish. Damon Boiles, Gaines Kinney, Jackson Williams, and Colton Kaiser each caught 1 fish. Jackson Horsely also caught a fish today, making that his first ever catch!

Today at Shooting Sports, the boys came on down and showed off their sharpshooter skills, shooting some clays.

League Games

Today on the Sunny Court 1, Mary Drue’s Corn on the Cobs demolished Amelia’s Artichokes in an exciting game of Volleyball. From the Cobs, Stella Marx played stellar. From the Artichokes, Kate Coleman played absolutely amazing.

Today on the Shady Court 2, Katie’s Cracked Cougars defeated Addie and Clarkie’s Sharks in an intense game of Volleyball. On the Cracked Cougars, Abby Drew Smith slayed. On the Sharks, Lucy Hollo played like a young Julia Wiedmer.

Today on the Bodacious Field 1, Harper’s Happily Hippos turnt up against Inskeep on Swimming in a poppin’ game of Softball. For the Swimmers, Gigi Graham played like her life depended on it. And from the Hippos, Eliza Nobles put on a show.

Today on the Wonderfully Shaded Field 2, Sarah Kate’s Corn Nugs obliterated Claire’s Care Bears in an extravagant game of Softball. From the Corn Nugs, Parker Simpson went hard in the paint. And from the Care Bears, Piper Payne played like a D1 softball player.

From the Dining Hall This morning, we had Sausage, Eggs, Grits, Toast, and Assorted Cereals. For lunch, we had BLTs with Bologna, Cheese, Pickles, Potato Chips, and a Salad Bar. For Dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies.  And to end the day, we had Chicken and Rice with Broccoli, and Rolls. For Dessert, we had Chocolate Pudding.
