Morning Activities

Fun and Games

Today at Fun and Games, the boys came down to Lower Lake and did the Ultimate Waterfront. Second period finished in 1st place with a time of 18 minutes and 48 seconds. First period finished in 2nd place with a time of 20 minutes and 48 seconds. And in 3rd place was third period with a time of 33 minutes.

The winner of the “ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta” was Colton Kaiser!

Horseback

Today at Horseback, we did some Barrel Racing and Cow Soccer with the girls! From the Rough Riders, Ellie Gribbin came in 1st with a time of 22.85 seconds on Duck. In 2nd was Kate Bakken with a time of 23.45 seconds on Kitty. And in 3rd place was Virginia Bell with a time of 24.49 seconds on Chuck. Sophie’s Group won Cow Soccer with a total of 96 points.

From the Drovers, Eliza Nobles came in 1st with a time of 30.07 seconds. Following in 2nd was Winnie Borman with a time of 30.19 seconds. In 3rd place was Mary Reid Marti with a time of 30.31 seconds. Sophie’s group won Cow Soccer again with 46 points this time.

From the Wranglers, our winner was Ashley Windness with a time of 26.51 seconds on Kitty. In 2nd place with a time of 27.71 seconds on Chuck was Marissa Smith. Finishing off in 3rd place was Alice Whitten with a time of 30.11 seconds on Kitty. For Cow Soccer, Wheeley’s group demolished the competition with their 71 point dub.

Riflery

Today at Riflery, the girls came down to the Shooting Range and shot some high scores.

Team Sports

Today at Team Sports, we played some Flag Football with the boys. In 1st period with JV, Julia’s Team won. In 2nd period with Varsity, Julia’s Team won again. Lastly, in 3rd period with the Hotshots, Julia’s Team swept the competition to take the final dub.

The winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Berkeley King!

Electives

Putt-Putt

Today ay Putt-Putt, we had a Qualification Tournament and Mary Reid Marti had the lowest score!

Today at Boys Putt-Putt, we had a Doubles Tournament and our winners were Jackson Kiser and Davis Hart.

Tramps

Today at Boys Tramps, George Sigman passed off 1st Class.

Today at Girls Tramps, Katherine Stubbs also passed off 1st Class.

Shooting Sports

Today at Girls Shooting Sports, we had a blast shooting some skeet.

Fishing

Today at Fishing, the boys came on down to the Ole Camp Mac Fishing Hole. Henry Swann caught 2 fish and kissed them. Jaxon Williams and Jackson Horsley each caught 1 fish. Walter Alves caught 1 fish and kissed it.

Today at Girls Fishing everyone had a great time. Eliza Nobles caught a Brim and everyone kissed it. Ashley Windness also caught a Brim.

League Games

Today on the Steppin’ Field 1, Boatright’s Big Steppas took home their ticket to the Steaks Dinner against Jimmy’s Jazzers. On the Steppas, Cooper Bounds played like a young Dale Murphy. On the Jazzers, Davis Kirkpatrick played like a young Ronald Acuña Jr.

From the Dining Hall This morning, we had Blueberry Muffins with Bacon, Eggs, Grits, Fresh Fruit, Yogurt, and Assorted Cereals. For lunch, we had Taco Salad with Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Sour Cream, and Salsa. For Dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies.  And to end the day, we had Fried Fish and Pizza Sticks with Seasoned Fries, Hushpuppies, Cole Slaw, and a Salad Bar.  For Dessert, we had Apple Pie.
