6 Day Check Out Day
Today we said goodbye to our 6-Day Campers. We hope they had fun and hope to see them next summer!
Morning Activities
Swimming
The boys went over to the pool and played Rat, Rabbit, Raccoon. During first periods the winners were Cole Davis, and Wyatt Olson. During 2nd period the winners were Jett Gucker, and Jackson David. During 3rd period Charlie Boiles, and Dylan Norrell won. In 4th period, they boys competed in an Australian Relay and Chippy’s Team won!
Team Sports
Today at Team Sports the boy played some volleyball. In first period, Maloy’s Team won and the MVP was Finn Westover. In Second Period, Maloy’s team won and the MVP was Henri Schoenvogel. In 3rd period Maloy’s Team won AGAIN, and the MVP was Rafa Johnson. In 4th period, no surprise here Maloy’s Team won, and the MVP was Dixon McLoy.
The winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Briggs Mann!
Fun & Games
Today at Fun & Games the boys had a pickle ball tournament! From first period the “Stranger Dangers” won, From second period, Ian’s Bald & Sorrys won, and from 4th period The Williamstown team won!
The winner of the “ratta tatta, ratta tatta, win a big old cowboy hatta!” was Rafa Johnson!!!
Skiing
At Lower Lake skiing, Sam Taylor & Dylan Norrell were first time skiers and John Clarke Gentle passed off 2nd Class Skiing.
At Upper Lake Skiing, Cole Davis, Berkeley King, Bennett Kirk, Richard Delaney, Harrison Naro, Garrett Davis, Everett Kuo, and Thomas Weiss were all first time skiers. Judson Mallory passed off 3rd class kneeboard, and Joe Garrett passed off 2nd class kneeboard. Miles Cummings passed off 2nd class wakeboard. Al Smyly, Pierson Kirk, Maclin Smith, and Charlie Brinson all passed off 3rd class skiing!
Riflery
Today the girls came over and shot some high scores and passed off some classes. Lizzie Gentle shot a 38, and passed off Pro-Marksman 1st Class. Allison Davis shot a 35, Lottie Badham shot a 31, Kate Bright shot a 37, Anna Harrison McGhee shot a 31. Morgan Sessions, Ginny Voss, and Olivia Vosburg all passed off Pro-Marksman.
Wilderness Skills
Today at Wilderness Skills the girls took a trip to High Falls!
Electives
Canoeing
Today at boys canoeing we had a race! Our winners were Damon Boiles, Rowan Falkson, Dixon McLoy, and Henry Swann!
Tennis
Today at girl’s tennis they had a doubles pickle ball tournament! The winning team was Katherine Tuten, and Kathleen Wilkinson!
Mountain Biking
The girls Mountain Biker of the week was Lily Logsdon! For the boys the Mountain Biker of the week was Grayson Mills! Grayson also made it up the highest this week on Killer Hill!
League Games
Hail’s Hungry Hornets faced off against Mack’s Minions in a thrilling game of volleyball. Representing the Hornets, Vann Dawson-Flanigan played like the most athletic Dawson-Flanigan at camp. From the Minions Charlie Cox played like King Bob himself!
Jack and the Giant Beanstalks squeezed out the win against Jimmy’s Jazzers in a narrow game of volleyball. From the Beanstalks, Lines Garrett played like the tallest beanstalk. From the Jazzers, Henry Swann played great!
On field 1, George’s GOATS barely beat Graham’s Giants in a hard-fought game of kickball! For the Giants, Reed Pazona played like if the Jolly Green Giant had D1 offers. From the GOATS, William Bayless played awesome!
Today on the slightly humid field 2, Michael’s Jordans stood on business against Ian’s Eagles. From the Jordan’s George Stewart balled out, and from the Eagles, Hollis Gentle played like the baldest eagle of them all.
Today on the soccer field, Crawford’s Chameleons defeated Marshall’s Marigolds in a heart palpitating game of Ultimate Frisbee. From the Marigolds, Finn Westover played wildly. From the Chameleons, Brock Wallace left it all on the field.
From the Dining Hall For Breakfast we had Sausage, Eggs, Toast, Grits, and Cereal! For lunch we had Fried and Grilled Chicken Sandwiches with Chips. We also had a Salad Bar and PB&J Sandwiches. For dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies. For Dinner we had Pizza and Wings. We also had a Salad Bar and PB&J Sandwiches. For dessert we had Ice Cream Sundaes!
