Today we said goodbye to our 11-Day Campers. We hope they had fun and hope to see them next summer!
Today at Swimming, Rowan Falkson won the Funny Dive Competition off the trampoline and Gaines Kinney won the Funny Dive Competition off of the diving board. We also played a game of Rat, Rabbit, Raccoon and Grayson Smith won.
Today at Riflery, we had the girls shooting some impressive scores.

Today at Fun and Games, the boys cane down and played Speed Putt and rode the Bucking Bull. In 1st period, Coleman Klecker won with a time of 5 minutes and 28 seconds. Charlie Dowd stayed on the Bull the longest with 1 minute and 13 seconds. In 2nd period, Lachlan Huffman won with a time of 7 minutes and 23 seconds. Hollaway Craft stayed on the Bull the longest with 52 seconds. In 3rd period, Lee Miller won with a time of 4 minutes and 21 seconds. Maclin Smith stayed on the Bull the longest with a time of 2 minutes and 14 seconds.
The winner of the “ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta” was Drew Peele!
Today at the Lower Lake Ski School, we had an incredible day with a ton of kids passing off classes and learning to ski. We had 4 First Time Skiers today! They were Lyle Shehi, Kee Graham, Smith Wilbanks, and Drew Peele.

Today at Power Boating, the girls went to Upper Lake and drove the Mouse Boat around. Sophia Sanders docked the best. We also had a dance competition and the winner was Callie Davis.
Today at Shooting Sports, the boys brought the heat.

Today during Electives, the girls came on down to the Ole Camp Mac Fishing Hole and slayed the day. Mary Sibley caught 2 brim, Anna Wibberley caught 1 brim, Skylar Davis caught 1 brim, Hendee Hayes Alias caught 1 brim, Cece Schramm caught 2 brim and a catfish, and Stella Marx caught 1 brim.
Today at Boys Fishing, we also caught some fish. Penton Davis, Henry Furman, Eli Bernstein, and Joesph Bernstein each caught 1 brim. Trott Quattlebaum caught 3 brim!
During Electives, the boys came on down to the Augusta National Course AKA Putt-Putt and John Weiss won our Closest to the Hole Competition.
Today at Girls Tennis, we continued our Doubles Tournament and also played some Cricket in the Cage. Our winners for Cricket in the Cage were Avery Andress, Lily Smith, and Hillary McLeod.
Today on the Hot Court 1, Jack and Jimmy’s Jazzers secured another W against Ben’s Corndogs in an awesome Volleyball battle. For the Jazzers, Damon Boiles played like it was grilled cheese and chicken nugs for lunch. From the Corndogs, Ham Sosebee’s performance was outstanding.
Today on the Sweaty Court 2, the Ottobots stomped on Coopas Troopas in a nail biting game of Volleyball. From the Ottobots, George Sigman played swell. From the Troopas, Lyle Shehi played like a young Tilghman Tate.
Today on Field 1, Pinel’s Poppin Purple Penguins destroyed The Echols. From the Penguins, John Weiss played like the fastest penguin in Antarctica. From The Echols, Henry Muscat played like a tough guy.
Today on Field 2, Boatright’s Big Steppas stepped on Grey’s Anatomy Season 3. From the Steppas, Will Mitchell stepped like no other. From the Anatomy, Guy Bradley played sharper than a scalpel.
From the Dining Hall This morning, we had French Toast with Sausage, Eggs, Grits, and Assorted Cereals. For lunch, we had Taco Salad with Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Sour Cream, and Salsa. For Dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies. And to end the day, we had Beef Stroganoff and Corn Dogs with Spiced Apples, English Peas, Rolls, and a Salad Bar. For Dessert, we had Banana Pudding.
Today during Cabin Time, B-4 came on over to the Old Camp Mac Fishing Hole and caught some fish. Jackson Banks caught a bream, and Everett Wos caught a bream and kissed it.
