Morning Activities
Swimming
Today at Swimming, the girls did a Stride Jump and Treading Water Contest. From G-1, Rylie Wheeler Charlotte Vann, and Emmy Stewart won the Stride Jump Contest. Emmy Stewart also won the Treading Water Contest. From G-2, Harper Africk and Hadley Meyer won the Stride Jump Contest and Kate Hutto won the Treading Water Competition. Finally, from G-3 Julia Downey, Hendee Hayes Alias, and Callie Stewart won the Stride Jump Contest. Julia Downey was also the winner of the Treading Water Contest.
Wilderness Skills
Today at Wilderness Skills, the boys came down and we played some Family Feud. In Second Period, the Fighting Scorpions won and in Third Period, the Fancy Boys won.
Team Sports
Today at Team Sports, G-1 played a close game of Kickball where the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos won 29-24. Our winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Murfee Wooten!
Skiing
At Upper Lake Hadley Meyer from G-2 got up on skis for the first time and from G-1, Gracie McCord and Reese Whitehurst also both got up on skis for the first time! At Lower Lake, Sommers Thuston got up on skis for the first time!
League Games
Today on Court 1, Grace’s Griddies crushed Andy’s Fireballs in a killer game of Newcomb. From the Griddies, Kate Meyer played like the best Griddier. From the Fireballs, Anne Deas played like a fiery asteroid.
Today on Field 1, Rylan’s Fruitloops demolished the Red Hots in a heated game of Kickball. From the Fruit Loops, Viv Richard played like a young Alli Wiberly and from the Red Hots, Skylar Davis played like a young Ashley Tuggle.
Today on Field 2, Allie’s Chicken Minis dominated Margret’s Goldfish inn a close game of Kickball. From the Chicken Minis, Lucy Hicks played like the realest spicy chicken sandwich, and from the Goldfish, Jane Frances Waites played like the tastiest Goldfish in the extra cheddar bag.
Electives
Bucking Bull
Today at the Bucking Bull, G-1 came down and rode the Bull like pros. Hunter Connolly stayed on for 5 minutes and 7 seconds and Riley Wheeler stayed on for 57 seconds. We also did a “Yeehaw Contest” and Evelyn Cannon was the winner!
From the Dining Hall This morning, we had the famous Camp Mac Breakfast with assorted cereals. For lunch, we had Turkey sandwiches with Doritos and chocolate chip cookies . And to end the day, we had Pork Chops with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and Beans.
