Today at Team Sports, the boys came down to the Soccer Field and played some World Cup. From JV, the winners of World Cup were Vann Dawson-Flanagin and Henry Weaver and the MVP was Vann Dawson Flanagin. From Varsity, Marshall Cummings and Hails Austin won World Cup and the MVPs were Ian Sweeney and Mac Schoenvogel. From the Hotshots, the winners of World Cup were Eli Bowen and Sam Taylor. Today’s winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Walker Snyder!
Today at Wilderness Skills, the girls came down to Wilderness Skills and we had a String Burn Competition for Fire Day. From the Wranglers, The Peppy Pioneers won. From the Rough Riders, “Can We Buy a Fire?” won. From the Drovers, The Flame-i-nators won.

Today at Fun and Games, the boys came down to the Camp Mac Green and we had a Dropout Contest and a Hole in One Competition. From 1st Period, Liles Garrett won the Dropout Contest. We also played Scramble in 1st period and the Liles Garrett and Will Fiedler won the first round, and Dutch Williams and Sig James won the second round. Rafa Johnson, Liles Garrett, Jeb Braxton, James Mitchell, and Sammy Crumpton all made Hole in Ones. From 2nd Period, we had a tournament. In 1st place with 41 strokes, Hudson Brogan won. Adam DePiano came in second with 50 strokes and Joe Garrett followed in 3rd with 56 strokes. Joe Garrett got a Hole in One and Adam DePiano got 2. For 3rd Period, the winner of the Dropout Contest was Miles Cummings. In 1st place for the tournament, Colin Gentle won with 44 strokes, Mason Lark got 2nd with 49 stokes, and Finley Montgomery followed in 3rd with 51 strokes. Eli Sweeney, Robert Strange, Ledge Searcy, Bo Giordano, Thomas Clay, Henry LeDoux, Finley Montgomery, and Declan McTear all got Hole in Ones. Today’s winner of the “ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta” was Finley Montgomery!
Today at Upper Lake, we had some boys pass off classes and get up on skis for the first time. From Varsity, Bruce Downey passed off 3rd and 2nd Class Wakeboarding. From the Hotshots, Robert Strange passed off 3rd Class Kneeboarding, Colin Gentle passed off 3rd Class Skiing, and Jack Carl got up on skis for the first time! From JV, Murray Seifert passed off 3rd Class Wakeboarding and Connor Pilger got up on skis for the first time and passed off 3rd Class Skiing!
Today at Lower Lake, Flynn Dickson passed off 3rd Class Skiing, Rafa Johnson passed off 3rd Class Kneeboarding, snd Henry LeDoux got up on skis for the first time!
Today on the Humid Court 1, Sig’s Silly Salmons got revenge against James’ Giraffes in a nail-biting game of Volleyball. From the Salmons, Mack Marston played swell. From the Giraffes, Jack Bright served that ball really well.
Today on the Slippery Court 2, Gray’s Anatomy crushed Zach’s Zesty Zebras in a soulful game of Volleyball. From the Anatomy, Michael Madigan was the star of the court and from the Zebras, Wells Simmons played like Marty the Zebra from Madagascar.
Today on the Sweaty Field 1, Boon’s Big Ballers walked off against Jimmy’s Jocks in a nail-biting game of Kickball. From the Ballers, Callan Rainer played like a Kickball star. From the Jocks, Ledge Searcy played like a young Sig James.
Today the boys came down to Lower Lake where we had a crazy Kayak Race and our winners were Miles Cummings in 1st place and Eli Bowen in 2nd.
Today at Tramps, the boys came down and passed off some classes. Jaxon Pritchett, Jackson Parker, Vann Dawson-Flanagin, and Adam DePiano all passed off 3rd and 2nd Class. Skyler Crane and Bo Giordano both passed pff 3rd, 2nd, and 1st Class. Henry LeDoux passed off 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and Expert Class Tramps!!
Today at Putt-Putt, we had a Dropout Contest and a Hole in One Competition. The winners of the Dropout Contest were Katherine Tuten and Caroline Lorberbaum. For the Hole in One competition, Caroline Lorberbaum got 2 Hole in Ones and Katherine Tuten got 1.
Today for Electives, the boys came down and caught some fish. John Clark Gentle and Ledge Searcy each caught 1 fish and Ledge Searcy also caught a turtle.
Today at Tennis, we played some Cricket in the Cage and Kathleen Wilkinson and Maggie Moore were the winners.
Today at Shooting Sports, the girls came down and had a tournament full of tiebreakers to see who the Top Shooter was. Clarkie Wilkinson hit 4/5 in the first round to secure 1st place. Kate Fitzpatrick hit 11/18 in her 5 rounds to secure 2nd place. Annabelle Lewis hit 10/18 in her 5 rounds to secure 3rd place. Bella Brothers secured 4th place, hitting 6/13 in her 3 rounds. Mary Drue Cobbs hit 2/5, Vivi Frazier hit 0/5, Lucy Palmer hit 4/9, Maddie Frerman hit 4/9, Merritt Williams hit 2/5, Ro Dawson-Flanagin hit 0/5, Sarah Neal DePiano hit 2/5, and Eleanor Adkins hit 2/5.
Today at Shooting Sports, the boys came also down and had a great time. Mack Marston hit 11 targets, Mack Pinel hit 13, McGregor Tuten hit 8, Hails Austin hit 13, Marshall Cummings hit 11, Jack Bright hit 10, Ian Sweeney hit 10, Benji Sokol hit 7, Max Montgomery hit 10, and Mac Schoenvogel hit 6.
Today we said goodbye to our 6-Day Campers. We hope they had fun and hope to see them next summer!
From the Dining Hall This morning, we had French Toast with Sausage, Eggs, Grits, and Assorted Cereal. For lunch, we had Hot Dogs with French Fries, Shredded Cheese, Chopped Onions, a Salad Bar, and chocolate chip cookies. And to end the day, we had Pork Chops, Mac and Cheese, Pinto Beans, Rolls, and Apple Turnovers.
