Riflery

Today at riflery, the girls came on over and we had some high scores and passoffs.

Today at Upper Lake, we had some passoffs...

Down at lower lake skiing, we had 6 first-time skiers:
Hayes Quattlebaum, Owen Henson, Patrick Leonard, Griff Remington, Hampton Ashley, and John Greer!

Swimming

Today at boys' swimming, we played some games and had some competitions.

In first period, the winner of Rat Rabbit Raccoon was George Stewart, and the runner-up was Jones Coder. The best dives belonged to George Stewart and Oliver Brock, and the funniest dives belonged to Oliver Kellogg and Oliver Brock.

In second period, the winner of the stride jump competition was Maclin Smith, and the runner-up was Atticus Crawford. The best dive was Elijah Cleage, and the funniest dive was Carter Glenn. The winners of the basketball competition were Carter Glenn, Bo Jordan, and Allen Remington.

In 3rd period, the best dives belonged to Hampton Ashley and Beck Bradham and the funniest dives belonged to Rivers Sanders and James Fielding.

In 4th period, the winner of the stride jump competition was Mason Lark, and the runner up was Eli Bernstein. The best dive belonged to Tate Bush, and the funniest dive was Mills Hecht. The winners of Rat Rabbit Raccoon were Tate Bush and Hodges Henson, and a special shout-out to Liles and Joe Garrett for learning how to dive!

Electives

Movie

Yesterday’s electives looked a little different thanks to some rainy weather. We settled in the Rec Hall & Little Theater for a movie. Senior campers cheered on the Tune Squad in Space Jam, while the Mini & Junior campers sang along with Sing!

Cabin Time

Obstacle Course

Today at the obstacle course, we played King of the Course. The winners were Emma Evans, Ellis McKibbin, and Grace Kiser. The three winners then battles it out, and Emma Evans and Grace Kiser ended in a draw!

League Games

Today on the drenched court one, Sam's Superb Seagulls flew over Richard's Ratatouilles. From the Seagulls, Steele Smith played like a prime Will Fiedler, and from the Ratatouilles, Henri Schoenvogel played like a beast.

Today on the slippery court two, Matt's Mashed Potatoes beat Jack's Jolly Ranchers in a fierce game of volleyball. For the Potatoes, Eli Bernstein played super, and for the Jolly Ranchers, Pierson Kirk played like a true athlete.

On the wet field 1, Will's Water Moccasins beat Judson's Bulls in a cool game of kickball. For the Water Moccasins, Rivers Sanders played great!

On the muddy field two, Al's John Porks overcame Adam's Athletes in a high-stakes game of kickball. From the John Porks, Walker O'Neill played outstandingly. From the Athletes, Hampton Ashley played like a boss.   Today on the wet soccer field, Hayden's Hippies smoked Colin's Cosmic Cobras in a sweaty game of ultimate frisbee. From the Hippies, Callan Rainer played good, and from the Cobras, Mack Gunn played nicely.

Vespers

Tonight, Mary Ellen Badham gave our vespers message.

From the Dining Hall This morning, we had bacon, eggs, cinnamon rolls, grits, and cereal. For lunch, we had taco salad with shredded cheese, lettuce and tomato, sour cream, salsa, and nacho cheese. We also had a salad bar and PB&Js. For dessert, we had chocolate chip cookies. For dinner, we had chicken alfredo, broccoli, and garlic bread. We also had a salad bar and PB&Js. For dessert, we had Rice Krispies treats!

Tonight for Night Rec...

The Mini and Junior campers had tall tales, and the Senior campers had Rec Hall!
