Lazy Day

Ski Party!

Today was Lazy Day! Everybody slept in for as long as they liked, watched some movies, and enjoyed free time. Our last year campers had a ski party on the lake this morning, and had hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch at The Cove.

Electives

Putt-Putt

Today the boys came down to the Augusta National Course to play the Camp Mac Masters. It was an intense matchup between Charlie Abenoja and Lee Miller with their caddies Andrew Cox and Warner Sheppard. The winner of the 2023 Boys Camp Mac Masters was Lee Miller!

During Girls Electives, the lovely ladies of Putt-Putt also came down to the Augusta National Course for the Camp Mac Masters and our winner was Winnie Borman!

Fishing

Today at Boys Fishing, we went on down to the Ole Camp Mac Fishing Hole and caught some brim. Trott Quattlebaum, Henry Frerman, Berkeley King, and Thomas Van Hauen each caught 1 brim. Eli Bernstein and Joseph Bernstein each caught 2 brim. Berkeley King also caught his fish.

Shooting Sports

Today at Girls Shooting Sports, we had the Camp Mac Shootout and our winner was Victoria Rizk with Kate Bakken as our runner up!

Today at Boys Shooting Sports, we also had our Shootout Tournament. Our winner was Warren Harper and our runner up was Thomas Clay!

Tennis

Today at Girls Tennis, we finished out our Singles Tournament and Carley Summers was this week’s champion!

League Games

Today on the Somewhat Shady Court 1, Coopa’s Troopas obliterated Boatright’s Big Steppas in an anxiety inducing game of Volleyball. From the Steppas, Henry Swann played like a Blue 2016 Mustang. From the Troopas, Eli Bernstein played like a Fresh Lazy Day Honey Bun.

Today on the heated Court 2, the Echols defeated Ben’s Corndogs in a nail biting game of Volleyball. From the Echols, Evan Summers played amazingly epic, and from the Corndogs, Trott Quattlebaum played like the best corn dog ever.

Today on the Shiny Field 1, Gray’s Anatomy Season 3 beat Jimmy’s Jazzers in a nail biting game of Softball. From the Anatomy, Davis Hart played like Gray at his peak athleticism. From the Jazzers, Joseph Bernstein was the jazziest jazzer that ever jazzed.

Today on the Stupendous Field Numero Dos, Pinel’s Poppin Purple Penguins arrested the Ottobots in a hair pulling game of Softball. From the Penguins, Charley Stephens played like a prime Happy Feet. From the Ottobots, Warren Harper played like a young Optimus Prime

From the Dining Hall This morning, we had Honey Buns with Bacon, Eggs, Grits, and Fresh Fruit. For lunch, we had Hot Dogs and French Fries with Chili, Onions, Cheese, Relish, and a Salad Bar. For Dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies.  And to end the day, we had Pizza and Hot Wings with a Salad Bar. For Dessert, we had Ice Cream.
