Check 'em in!!!
Today, we started off the first senior term and our second junior and mini terms...and we couldn't have been more excited to welcome everyone back to camp! Everybody met their counselors, and got checked into their cabins.
Morning Activities
Swimming
Campers came down to the pool and everyone completed their swim test!
League Games
Today during League Games, the junior and mini campers played some kickball!
On court 1, Janie’s Jumping Jags dominated Kate’s Kicking Kangeroos in a heated game of kickball. From the Jags, Lulu Spann played swell, and from the Kangaroos, Amelia Gewin played like a boss!
On the sweaty field 1, Al’s John Porks destroyed Will’s Water Moccasins in a nail biting game of Kickball. From the John porks, Justin Bacon was on fire! From the Moccasins, Lawrence Wall played like a more athletic Vosburg!
On field 2, Judson’s Bulls got the best of Adam’s Athletes, defeating them in a fierce game of kickball. From the Bulls, Reid Newsom played like Zach Cater in his prime! From the Athletes, Crew Rodriguez played like John Martin in his prime!
From the Dining Hall For lunch, we had burgers and fries with chocolate chip cookies. And to end the day, we had chicken fingers, mashed potatoes with gravy, rolls, and green beans. For dessert, we had brownies.
