Today at swimming the boys came down and had a funniest dive competition! From the Mavericks an honorable mention goes to Mac Murphy, and the winner was Thomas Sneed. From the Moonshiners, an honorable mention goes to Oliver Brock, and the winner was Carson Kennedy. From the Whippersnappers, an honorable mention goes to Cain Finger, and the winner was Bennett Russell. From the Homesteaders, an honorable mention goes to Jack Neblett, and the winner was Townsend Galli.
Today at Team Sports the boys came down and played some barnyard bonanza! From the moonshiners, Emily and Lucy’s flagrunners won, and the MVP was Patrick Leonard. From the Whippersnappers, Liles Mini Goats won, and the MVP was Grant Catchot. From the Homesteaders Doug’s Green Jackets won, and the MVP was Edward Barnhill. From the Mavericks, Emily’s Yellow Jackets won, and the MVP was Jack Fielding. The winner of the winna winna chicken dinner is… Spence Parker!
Today during Putt-Putt, Violet Hemphill won our game with a score of 27 over 11 holes. Liz Parker and Dotty Patton both got hole in ones!
Today at fishing the girls of G-2 came down and caught some fish! Elizabeth Lowrey caught three, Chandler Shirley caught two, Anne Maddox Galle caught two, Florence DeBardeleben caught one, and Calla Simmons caught one.
Today on the sweaty court one, the Chaotic Cubs kachowed the Luxurious Leopards in a thrilling game of newcomb. From the Cubs, Quinn Carpenter played chaotic, and from the Leopards, James Andrew played smartly.
Today on the pristine court two, Murray’s Minions overtook Doug’s Bama Boomers in a wild game of newcomb. From the Minions, John Downey played smoothly, and from the Boomers, Charlie Vogelsang played reliably.
On the perfectly cloudy field one, Jimmy’s Destroyers dominated Jeb’s Giant Jaguars in a magnificent game of kickball. From the Destroyers, Philip Barnhill played swagalicious, and from the Jaguars, Jack Neblett played superb.
Today on the gnat-infested field two, Rafa’s Red Roadrunners outmatched Lyle’s Lizards in a nail-biting game of kickball. From the Roadrunners, Edward Simmonds played amazingly, and from the Lizards, Bruddy Burton played swell.
From the Dining Hall This morning we had sausage, eggs, biscuits, and grits. For lunch, we had taco salad. And to end the day, we had chicken alfredo, broccoli, and rolls.
The Juniors had Tacky Night, and the Adventure Camp Campers had Courts!
