Morning Activities

Skiing

Today at Upper Lake Skiing, Adam DePiano and Leo Skelton were first time skiers! Morris Smith and Harrison Naro passed off 3rd class skiing, Charlie Cox and Cole Davis passed off 3rd class kneeboarding, Rowan Falcon passed off 1st class kneeboarding, and Murray Seifert passed off 1st class wakeboarding! Down at lower lake skiing, Bob Meador was a first time skier!!! And Garrett Davis passed off 2nd class kneeboarding!

Horseback

Today at horseback we played cow soccer and did some barrel racing! Here are the fastest barrel racing times of the day! In first period, Britt Harris won on Radio with a time of 23.98 seconds (fastest time of the day)! In 2nd period, Julia Downey won on Kitty with a time of 29.63 seconds. In 3rd period, Elizabeth Ward won on White Sox with a time of 26.47 seconds. Then finally in 4th period, Vivian Austin won on Duck with a time of 24.73 seconds!

Team Sports

Today at Team Sports the boys played basketball! In first period, Tim’s team won and the MVP was Matthew Wills. In 2nd period Maloy’s Team won and the MVP was Charlie Boiles. In 3rd period Tim’s team won and the MVP was Carter Pritchett! In 4th period, Tim’s team won again and the MVP was Berkley King!

The winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Damon Boiles!

Fun & Games

Today at Fun & Games the boys came down to play some disc golf. In first period, Harrison Naro and Damon Boiles both shot -8, In second period, Judson Mallory shot -7, in 3rd period Seth Love shot -6, and from 4th period, Eli Sweeney shot -12.

The winner of the “ratta tatta, ratta tatta, win a big old cowboy hatta!” was Murray Seifert!!

Riflery

Today the girls came over and shot some high scores and passed off some classes! Lizzie Gentle shot a 40, Annie Carrol passed off pro marksman and shot a 33, Sophia Spencer shot a 31, Addie Bowden shot a 36, June Lunsford shot a 35, Kate Mayer shot a 30, Sommers Thuston passed off promarksman, Allison Davis shot a 42 and passed off Sharp Shooter, Penelope Swann shot a 34, Maggie Elliott passed off Pro-Marksman, Maddie Brooks shot a 32, Evelyn Cannon shot a 36, Mary Lee Burkhalter shot a 31, Sophie Schoenrock shot a 41, Mia Thompson shot a 32, Maggie Moore shot a 36, Auden Rainer shot a 33, Britt Harris shot a 35, Rylie Andrews shot a 35, Penelope Hudgins shot a 40, Avery Wiard shot a 38, Caroline Wyatt shot a 33, Harper Bextel passed off Pro-Marksman, Callie Davis shot a 34, and Olivia Vosburg shot a 33.

Adventure

Today’s at Boy’s Adventure the boys played balls of glory! Al Smyly, Callan Rainer, and Finn Westover all tied for 2nd by catching 6, and Henry Hargett and Will Vosburg pulled ahead with the win each catching 9!

Fishing

Today at boy’s fishing Michael Page caught 2 fish, Damon Boiles caught 2 fish, and Morris Smith caught 1 fish.

At girl’s fishing, Sophia Spencer caught 1 fish, Julia Downey caught 3 fish, Evie Nash caught 1 fish, Virginia Moss caught 2 fish, and Savannah Longshore caught 2 fish!

Tramps

Today at boy’s tramps Grady Coder passed off 2nd class, and Graham Newsom passed off 1st class! Today at Girl’s Tramps, Sophie Schoenrock passed off 2nd class, and Annie Carrington passed off Expert!

Shooting Sports

Today at Girl’s Shooting sports the girls shot at 8 targets! Here are their scores, Anna Harrison McGehee shot 2/8, Mia Carollo shot 3/8, Hayes Youngner shot 1/8, Avery Wiard shot 4/8, Callie Davis shot 1/8, Maggie Moore shot 3/8, Charlie Wilcox shot 5/8, Mia Thompson shot 4/8, Lily Logsdon shot 4/8, Penelope Hudgins shot 4/8, and Cheney Humphries shot 1/8.

Cabin Time

Obstacle Course

G1 came down to the obstacle course and had a race! Helen Bextel came in first followed by Kate Mayer, and then Lucy Creek!

League Games

Today on this hot afternoon in June on court 1, Mack’s Minions defeated Crawford’s Chameleons in an intense game of volleyball! From the Minions, Grayson Mills played like he saw a banana. From the Chameleons, Jett Gucker played phenomenally.

Today on court 2, Marshall’s Masters welcomed Fiedler’s Family back with a devastating defeat in volleyball. From the Masters, Richard Delaney played like he was the MVP. From the Family, Carter Pritchett played like an Allstar!

Today on field 1, Jack and the Giant Beanstalks took a dominant win over Hails and Mikey’s Mike and Ikes, in a stupendous game of softball. From the Beanstalks, Robert Strange played like the tallest beanstalk. From the Mike and Ikes, Berkley King played like the best flavor of Mike and Ikes in the box!

3 Year Shirts

Tonight our 6 Year Campers received their 3 year shirts!
Lena Daley, Anna Harrison McGehee, Maggie Moore, Auden Rainer, Katherine Tuten, Ginny Voss, Avery Waard, Caroline Wyatt, Hayes Youngner, Brock Wallace, Vann Dawson-Flanigan, Miles Cummings, Liles Garrett, Colin Gentle, and John Clarke Gentle!

From the Dining Hall For Breakfast we had Sausage, Eggs, Toast, Grits, and Cereal! For lunch we had Italian Wraps. We also had a Salad Bar and PB&J Sandwiches. For dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies. For Dinner we had Thanksgiving Dinner: Turkey, Dressing, Green Beans, Sweet Potato Casserole, Cranberry Sauce, and Rolls. We also had a Salad Bar and PB&J Sandwiches!
