Riflery

Today at Riflery the boys came down and had some high scores and passed off some classes!

Bennett Kirk passed off Marksman, Tucker Appleton passed off Pro-Marksman, Charlie Cox passed off Marksman, and Adam DePiano passed off Marksman.

Fun and Games

Today the girls came down and played some sprouts and pickleball! Anne Sutton Thomas won sprouts twice, which is very hard to do, earning her the ratta tatta hatta!

Team Sports

Today at team sports the girls played some Barnyard Bonanza! From first period everyone tied, and the MVP was June Lunsford. From second period, the real peppers won, and the MVP was Helen Bextel. From third period, the Pigs won and the MVP was Mary Ellen Badham. From first period for the juniors, the preppy aligators won, and the MVP was Ava Sheedy. From second period, the Crazy Cows won and the MVP was Vera Schmidt. From third period the blue team won and the MVP was Ava Foote. The winner of the Winna Winna Chicken Dinna was Marion Povall!

Electives

Tramps

Today at girls tramps, Maya Henry and Lynnley Bayless both passed off second class!

Tennis

Today at girls tennis, the girls had another pickleball tournament, and Grace Kiser and Ann Clark Fleming won! There was also a keep up competition which Elizabeth Anne Kinney won with 420 bounces. Grace Kiser won the second time with 150 bounces.

Shooting Sports

Today the boys came down, and shot some clays!

Mountain Biking

Today at mountain biking the girls had a race and Sommers Thurston and Fair Taylor tied at 1:06 seconds.

Kayaking

Today at kayaking the boys came down to lower lake and had a race! In first place was Steele Smith, Grady Coder came in second, and George Stewart came in third!

League Games and Cabin Time

Due to inclement weather, there was no cabin time or league games. Junior campers got to play some bombardment, and senior campers go to have an impromptu rec hall!

From the Dining Hall This morning we had bacon, eggs, toast, and grits. For lunch, we had grilled cheeses and chicken nuggets.  For Dinner there was pot roast, fried okra, rice and gravy. 

Vespers

Tonight at Vespers, Maggie Moore provided our message.

Tonight for Night Rec...

The senior campers had rec hall, and our juniors had tall tales!
