Today at Wilderness Skills, the girls came down and we had a Wood Collecting Competition. For the Drovers, Kaygan Frith won. For the Wranglers, Celia Albright won. For the Rough Riders, Annabelle Lewis won. For the Dudes, Caroline Brown won.
Today at Swimming, the Hotshots and Rookies competed in a Breaststroke Relay. From the Hotshots, Brady’s Black Pearls took the win. From the Rookies, Chippy and Jake’s Water Snakes won after a close race.
Today the girls came down to the Range and we had some sharp shooters. Anna Harrison McGehee shot a 28, Eden Hubbard shot a 31 and passed off Marksman, Ayden Rainer shot a 32, Avery Wiard shot a 28, Lena Daley shot a 30, Mary Drue Cobb shot a 31, and Hadley Harris shot a 29.
Today the boys came down to Fun and Games and the winner of the “ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta” was Jett Gucker.
Today at Sports, the boys played some Bombardment. For JV, the Jimmy Johns tied S.K. and Emily’s Chargers and Thomas Haygood was the MVP. From the Hotshots, The Griddy Group beat Captain Jack Sparrow and Ian Sweeney and Lassiter Silsbee were the MVPs. From Varsity, the Bandits beat Jimmy’s Neutrons and Mack Pinel and Ian Baldassarri were the MVPs. From the Rookies, the Mickey Mouses beat the “Get It Dunns” and the MVPs were Walker Fergeson and Henry Schoenvogel. The winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Walker Fergeson.
On the Sweaty Court 1, Boon’s Big Ballers took the dub over Charlie’s Gnarly’s. From the Ballers, Lassiter Silsbee played like a young Parker Silsbee. From the Gnarly’s, Gaines Von played stellar.
On the Humid Court 2, James’s Giraffes took out Grey’s Anatomy in an extremely close game of Volleyball. From the Anatomy, Mikey Brown played like a young Brady Meadows. From the Giraffes, Thomas Hagood played like the King of the Savana.
On Field 1, Fiedler’s Bananas unpeeled Colin’s Comets, winning 15-3. From the Comets, Charlie Cox played out of this world. From the Bananas, Lee Miller was the #1 Banana.
On Field 2, Zachary’s Zesty Zebras wrecked Sig’s Silly Salmon. From the Salmon, Mack Marston flapped around liker a fish out of water and from the Zebras, Murray Seifert played great.
In the Gym, Jimmy’s Jocks destroyed McNeill’s Big Macs. From the Jocks, Matthew Wills played like a true athlete and from the Big Macs, Rob Lee played great.
Today the girls came down to Tramps and passed off some classes. Katherine Tuten, Anna Harrison McGehee, Kathleen Wilkinson, Lucy Palmer, Annabelle Lewis, Caroline Lorberbaum, McKaye Rogers, and Allison Davis all passed off 3rd Class. Katherine Tuten, Anna Harrison McGehee, Kathleen Wilkinson, Lucy Palmer, McKaye Rogers, and Allison Davis also passed off 2nd Class.
Today at Fishing, Will Vossburg caught and kissed a Bluegill.
Today at Putt-Putt, Liles Garrett, Jackson Parker, Brock Wallace, John Clark Gentle, and Robert Strange each made a hole in one, Ledge Searcy made 4 hole in ones. Jackson Parker won our Dropout Contest!
The girls also came down to Putt-Putt and played a few rounds of Dropout! Caroline Wyatt won the first 3 rounds, Evie Lewis won the 4th round, and Zoe Sweeney won the last round! Caroline Wyatt also got a hole in one and Fsir Taylor caught a baby frog!
At Tennis, Mali Brown and Anne Margaret Wilkinson won Cricket in the Cage. Anne Margaret also won the Bounce Contest.
Today at Adventure, we had a rivalry game of Ultimate Kayaking between the Traffic Cones and the Kachows. The Traffic Cones clutched the game at the last second, winning the game 1-0.
Today at Adventure, the Buoy Crushers defeated the “I Don’t Knows” 2-1 in a close game of Ultimate Kayaking.
From the Dining Hall This morning, we had Pancakes with Sausage, Eggs, and Toast. For lunch, we had BLT Sandwiches with Oatmeal Cookies. And to end the day, we had Fried Fish with Pizza Sticks, Seasoned Fries, Hush Puppies and Cole Slaw.
