Morning Activities

Team Sports

Today at team sports the boys came down and played toppleball.
1st Period: Carter’s Six-Sevens beat the Lava Chicken Losers. MVP was Hayes Kennemer
2nd Period: Lyle’s Electric Chicken Nuggets beat the Unspeakable Underdogs. Wells Carpenter was the MVP
3rd Period: Liles’ Low Taper Fades beat the Skibbidy Rizzler Dragons. Mac Murphy was the MVP.
Thomas Sneed was the winner of the Winna Winna Chicken Dinna

Fun and Games

Today the boys came down to fun and games and did the bull and the toxic meltdown.
1st Period - John Downey rode for 1:11 minutes.
2nd Period - Culver Burke rode for 1:00 min. Wyatt Olson had the best yee-haw.
3rd Period- James Andrew rode for 1:11 min and Carson Kennedy had the best yee-haw.
Ratta Tatta- Carson Kennedy won the Ratta Tatta for his effort and
enthusiasm.

Riflery

Today at riflery the girls came down and had a high score contest.
The top scorer from the mavericks was Lucy Grady with a 46, from the homesteaders, Mackenzie Samford with a 43, From the whippersnappers, Lizzy Grace Knowles with a 43, from the moonshiners, Donna Whitman with a 45.

Swimming

Today the boys came down and had a stride jump competition. From first period the winner was Louis Puffer, second period Hayes Kennemer, and third period was Cain Finger. They also had a treading water competition. From first period the winner was Jack Shirley, from second period, Benjamin Campbell, and third period was Henry Simmonds.

Skiing

James Nobles and Grant Catchot were first time skiers.

Wilderness Skills

Austyn Raughton, Harper Nichols, and Mary Stewart Lammons all caught a salamander. Lucy Graddy also stood under High Falls for 2:30 minutes.

Electives

Putt Putt

G-4 went to putt-putt for a hole in one competition. Grace Bowman, Leighton McBrearty, Natalie Hastik, Gwen Gomel, Liv Slade, Carley Finger, Adare Lowrey, Donna Wittmann, Amelia Fellows, and Emma Scott all got a hole-in-one! Jane Hemphill won the game.

Cabin Time

Putt Putt

G-3 also came down to putt putt and had a dropout competition. The winner was Lena Wilson during the competition Charlotte Gross, Catherine Munderloh and Addison Kirkley all got a hole in one. Winn Bolt got four hole in ones.

Bull and Toxic Meltdown

Oak Ridge went to the Bull and Toxic Wipeout. The three longest times were Austyn Raughton with 4:08 min, Isla Gilliand with 3:32 min, and Reilly Whitehurst with 3:27. The winner of the wipeout was Mary Stewart Lammons, and Austyn Raughton also had the best yee-haw.

League Games

Today on the David Field, Carter’s Chaotic Cubs played gooder than Liles’ Luxurious Leopards in a great game of kickball. From the Cubs, Quinn McMillan played gooder, and from the leopards Mac McMurphy played like a young Caven Burdick.

Today on the Allen Like field two, Murray’s minions dominated Doug Bama boomers in a thrilling game of kickball. From the minions, Maxwell Pouncey played like Allen McBride. From, the Bama boomers Culver Burke played like a young Allen McBride.

From the Dining Hall This morning we had sausage, eggs, biscuits, grits, and cereal was available.  For lunch, we had BLTs with chips and a cookie.  For Dinner there was hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and rolls with peach cobbler for dessert.

Vespers

Libby Johnson gave our message tonight.

Tonight for Night Rec...

Juniors had popcorn night, and our Adventure Camp campers had swing dancing!
