Morning Activities

Skiing

Today at Upper Lake Skiing we had a bunch of 1st time Skiers! Congratulations to Bennett Thaggard, Warner Shepard, Jack Turnipseed, and Lawerence Lavender!

Fun & Games

Today at Fun and Games, the boys played human foosball!!

The winner of the “ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta” was Doug Mills!

Team Sports

Today at Team Sports, the Senior Boys played Bombardment! In 1st period, the Purple Corndogs defeated the Big Ole Rhett’s Team and the MVP was Grayson Smith. In 2nd period the Dinosaurs won and the MVP was Charlie Sanders. In 3rd period, Fred’s team won and Fred Carrington was also the MVP. In 4th period, The Only 9s beat the the Billys and Reeves Haggard was the MVP!

The junior boys played Newcomb! In first period the winner was the orange team and the MVP was Charlie King. In 2nd period the Tigers won and the MVP was George Prince! In 3rd period, the Golden Scorpions won and the MVP was Jackson Klinger. In 4th period, the Littles beat the Bigs and the MVP was Camper Lavender!

The winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Montgomery Springs!

Electives

Dance

Today at the Dance elective, Bella Mann and Elliot Adams won the freeze dance contest!!

Adventure

Today at Girl’s Adventure the girls went over to the Rock Wall to see who could make it up the highest! Martha Westerkom and Janie Hecker tied for 3rd with 6 Panels, McCann Butler came in 2nd with 7 Panels, and Mary Jennings Gross came in 1st with 9 Panels!!!

Over at Boy’s Adventure, the boys zipped across the biplane while playing Balls of Glory! Dutch Sparks came in 2nd place catching 4/6, and Jim Klinger came in 1st catching 5/6!!

Fishing

Today at Boy’s Fishing, George Prince caught 2 fish, Charlie Knighton caught 1 fish, and Will Flanagan caught 1 fish! At Girl’s fishing, Blake Shaw caught 1 fish, Sarah Kell caught 1 fish, Wells Butler caught 1 fish, Lillian Strother caught 1 fish, and Mary Fletcher Roe caught 1 fish!

Tramps

Today at Boy’s Tramps, Andrew Cox won the high jump contest! At Girl’s Tramps, Sadie Louise Schramm passed off 3rd class, Callie Stewart passed off 3rd class, Alex Stokely passed off 3rd class, Walker Haynes passed off 3rd class, Walker Searcy passed off 3rd class, and Sibley Clikas passed off 3rd class!

League Games

Today on court 1, Skyler’s Screaming Sasquatches slammed Moody’s Musicians. From the Sasquatches, Will Webber ran like he was running from the public. From the Musicians, Smith Gentle played like a prime Taylor Swift.

On court 2, Sam’s Sooners took down Walter’s Wizards in a very intense game. From the Sooners, Suhaan Parcha played like the GOAT, while on the Wizard’s, Fred Carrington played great.

On Field 1, Bruce’s Champions defeated the Rizzlers in a very crazy game of kickball. On the Champions, Barton Longo played like a winner, and from the Rizzlers, James Fielding played awesome!

On Field 2, Warren’s Underdogs defeated Davis’s Alphas in an eyebrow raising game of kickball. From the Underdogs, George Prince played with the power of the Camp Mac Spirit. From the Alphas, Jackson Banks played like a young Cale Smith.

On the slightly soggy soccer field, Jimmy’s Jazzers won a tough ultimate frisbee battle against Jack’s Jackhammers. For the Jazzer’s Erik Windness played like his rent was due. From the Jack Hammer’s, Hudson Brogan left his heart and soul on the field.

In the Gym with no sunshine, The Green Eggs and Sam defeated Spencer’s Shanghai Sharks in a heated game of bombardment. From the Eggs, Everrett Wos played like Michael Jordan, and from the Sharks, Tripp Gribbin played like a swift alpaca!

From the Dining Hall For Breakfast we had Sausage, Eggs, Toast, Grits, and Cereal! For lunch we had BBQ Haystacks. We also had a Salad Bar and PB&J Sandwiches. For dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies. For Dinner we had Pork Chops, Mac & Cheese, Black Eyed Peas, and Rolls! We also had a Salad Bar & PB&J sandwiches. For dessert we had Cup Cakes!
