Today we said goodbye to our 11-Day Campers. We hope they had fun and hope to see them next summer!
Morning Activities
Skiing
Today at skiing the girls came down and passed off some classes. Francie Allias, Hannah Meadows, Andi Turnipseed, Elliott Adams, Eleanor Oswalt, Perry McMurphy, Gigi Graham, Leland Adams, and Elizabeth McGuire passed off third class kneeboard. Lucy White, McHann Butler, Ida Hirsch, Anne Collier Cotney, Ellie Tucker, and Lucy David passed off third class skiing. Mary Jennings Gross passed off first class skiing, and Addy Meadows passed off first class kneeboard. Lily Smith and Kate Mayer passed off expert kneeboard. Savannah Thomas, Ida Hirsch, Sidney McElroy, and Addy Meadows are all first time skiers!
Team Sports
Today at team sports the girls went to the gym and played some basketball. From first period, the MVP was Kate Mayer, from second period, the MVP was LIllie Pendleton, from third period, the MVP was Kate Hutto, and from fourth period, the MVP was Elliot Adams. The winner of the winna winna chicken dinna is Janie Hecker!
Fun and Games
Today at fun and games the girls had a scavenger hunt all around camp! From first period, Anne Frances Bobo and Helen Lacey won, from second period, Louise Williams and Virginia Bell won, from third period, Perry McMurphy and Margaret Mattei won, and from fourth period, Maggie Gribbin and Charlotte Bell won. The winner of the ratta tatta hatta is Mary Reid Marti.
Riflery
Today at riflery the boys came down and shot some high scores and passed off classes.

League Games
Today on the slippery court one, Herrin’s Humongous Hippos defeated Penelope’s Wickle Pickles in a nail-biting game of volleyball. From the hippos, Ada Morton played like the Hungriest Hippo, and from the Pickles, Maggie Gribbin played strategically.
Today on the partially rainy and kinda sunny court two, the Olympians dominated Amelia’s Apples in a wild game of volleyball. From the Olympians, Mary Reid Marti played with the most aura, and from the Apple, Alex Stokely played like the ripest apple there is.
Today on the sweaty field one, the Volcanoes crushed the Mermaids in a tense game of softball. From the Volcanoes, Lucy Tice played superbly, and from the Mermaids, Jacqueline Stubbs played reliably.
Today on the wet field two, Lily’s Laffy Taffys beat Scarlett’s Super Sloths in a close game of softball. From the Sloths, Lucy Longo played like the most super sloth there is, and from the Taffy’s, Anne Collier Cotney played like a taffy with the best joke ever.
From the Dining Hall This morning we had bacon, eggs, blueberry muffins, and grits. For lunch, we had barbecue haystacks and cookies. For Dinner, there were hot dogs, chips, beans, and s'mores.

We had campouts!
