Morning Activities

Rifelry

Today at Riflery the girls came over and shot some high scores and passed off some classes! Hannah Webber shot a 30, Parker Latham shot a 32, Sarah Grace Keadle passed off pro marksman, Hunter Connolly shot a 34, Stella Marx shot a 33, Emmy Stewart passed off pro marksman, Abby Drew Smith shot a 32, McHann Butler passed off pro marksman, Ashley Windness shot a 37, Elizabeth Bernstein shot a 31, Ada Morton shot a 32, Katie Kirkpatrick shot a 31, Victoria Rizk shot a 38, Addie Bradshaw shot a 35, Harper Africk shot a 33, Ashley Dickson shot a 45 (the high of the summer!), Kate Bakken shot a 35, Parker Simpson shot a 30, and Martha Westerkom passed off marksman!

Skiing

Today at Upper Lake Skiing we had 2 first time skiers! Congratulations to Hank Lomax and Luke Woodward! Reed Parker, and Charles Bounds also passed off 3rd class skiing! Thomas Bedsole and Walter Alves passed off 3rd class kneeboard. Will Webber passed off 2nd class wakeboard, and Cooper Bounds passed off 1st class wakeboarding! Down at Lower Lake, Trott Quattlebaum and Beirne Miles were our first time skiers! We also had a ton of people pass off classes! Billy Slide, Mack Helms, Winn Samford, and Joseph Bernstein passed off 3rd class kneeboarding! Doug Mills passed off 3rd class wakeboarding! Drew Peele and Grayson Smith both passed off 2nd class wakeboarding!

Swimming

Today at swimming the boy's had their Water Basketball tournament! In 1st period the Unibrows won with Warner Sheppard as the MVP. In 2nd period, the Jandrews won and the whole team decided they were MVPs, John Weiss, Joseph Rhodes, and Andrew Cox. In 3rd period, the Pickles won with their MVP being Drew Peele. In 4th period, the Uptowns won, and Phillip Bove was the MVP!

Team Sports

Today in Team Sports the boys played Ultimate Frisbee. In 1st period Tim’s team won and the MVP was Michael Echols. In 2nd period Maloy’s team won and the MVP was Lachlan Huffman. In 3rd period Maloy’s team won again and the MVP was Will Sedhik. Lastly in 4th period, Maloy’s team won. The MVP was Reed Parker.

The winner of the “ winna winna chicken dinna” was Reed Parker.

Electives

Tennis

Today at Boy's Tennis we played a pickleball tournament and the winners were Dutch Sparks and Will Webber!

Fishing

Today at boys fishing Drew Peele caught 1 fish, Reed Parker caught 2 fish, Lawrence Lavender caught 1 fish, Meyer Fleet caught 2 fish, Jackson Horsely caught 1 fish, and Thomas Bedsole caught 1 fish!

Putt-Putt

Today at boy’s Putt Putt we had a hole - in - one competition and Goodwin Wos won! At Girl’s Putt-Putt we had our Green Vs White Tournament and the White Team won!

Shooting Sports

Today at Girl’s Shooting Sports the girls shot at 20 clays! Ashley Dickson shot 7/20, Mary Jennings Gross shot 6/20, Martha Westerkom shot 1/20, Janie Hecker shot 6/20, Celia Albright shot 9/20! At boy’s shooting sports the boys shot at 16 clays! Hayden Wood shot 12/16, Richard Kinney shot 5/16, Will Sednik shot 11/16, Thomas Clay shot 7/16, Doug Mills shot 10/16, Cooper Bounds shot 2/16, Coleman Klecker shot 10/16, Fred Carrington shot 6/16, and Hudson Brogan shot 2/16!

From the Dining Hall For Breakfast we had Sausage, Eggs, Biscuits, Grits, and Cereal! For lunch we had Fried/Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, and Chips! We also had a Salad Bar and PB&J Sandwiches. For dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies. For Dinner we had Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, and Chips! For dessert, we had S’Mores!
