Lazy Day
Ski Party!
Today was Lazy Day! Everybody slept in for as long as they liked, watched some movies, and enjoyed free time. Our last year campers had a ski party on the lake this morning, and had hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch at The Cove!
Electives
Tramps
Today at Girl’s Tramps, Lowe Springs, Elliott Adams, Vivy Craft, Margaret Mattei, and Walton Fleming all passed off 3rd class. Vivy Craft, Parker Leatherbury, and Ann Clark Fleming passed off 2nd class. Audrey Shepard passed off 1st class! Today at Boy’s Tramps, Lyle Shehi, Jim Klinger, Hank Lomax, Lyle Lawrie, and Walter Alves all passed off 3rd class. Lyle Shehi, Jim Klingler, and Hank Lomax also passed off 2nd class. Hollaway Craft passed off 1st class!
Fishing
Today at Boy’s Fishing, Meyer Fleet caught 2 fish, Drew Peele caught 1 fish, Jackson Horsely caught 2 fish, and Jackson Kiser caught 1 fish. Today at Girl’s Fishing, Maggie Cobb caught 1 fish, and Gigi Graham caught 1 fish!
Adventure
Today at Girl’s Adventure, the girls played Balls of Glory on the zip line! Alex Stokely came in first, Ada Morton came in 2nd, and Lily Smith, Annie Law, and Charlie Jones all tied for 3rd!
Cabin Time
Wet Willie
Today B3 came over to the Wet Willie and tried to see who could do the most 360 spins as they went down! Samuel Marx came in first, Tripp Gribbin came in 2nd, and Charles Bounds came in 3rd!
League Games
Today on court 1, Lanier’s Lucky Charms beat AK’s Kickin Chickens in a scary game of volleyball. On the Lucky Charms, Lucy Longo played like the most hype marshmallow on the court! From the Chickens, Charlotte Bell played like the cluckiest chicken out there!
On the slippery court 2, Madelyn’s Marshmallow Minions destroyed Ellie’s Extravagant Eggs in a nail-biting game of volleyball. From the Minions, Piper Payne played like the best minion out there. From the Eggs, Victoria Rizk played like the yummiest egg!
Today on the very wet field 1, Lucy’s Goosies crushed Kate’s Kangaroos in a heated game of softball. From the goosies, Marion Haynes played astonishingly. From the kangaroos, Carley Summers played swell.
Today on the rainy field 2, Amelia’s Animal Crackers beat Riley’s Rad Rhinos in a fun game of softball. From the Animal Crackers, Elizabeth Bernstein played stellar. From the Rhinos, Sibley Clicks played like the best Rhino.
From the Dining Hall This morning, we had Sausage, Eggs, Grits, Toast, and Assorted Cereals. For lunch, we had BBQ Haystacks. For Dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies. And to end the day, we had Catfish, French Fries, and Hush Puppies. We also had the option of a Salad Bar, and PB & Js.
