Morning Activities

Skiing

Today at skiing the boys came down and passed off some classes.

Ayden Brady, Hudson Brogan, Barton Longo, and Ross Shaw passed off third class ski. Hank Lomax and James Fennell passed off third class kneeboard. Everett Wos passed off second class wakeboard, Charles Bounds passed off third class wake, Lytle Lawrie passed off second class knee board, and Linus Means passed off second class ski. Barton Longo, Howell Shreiber, and Luke Goforth were first time skiers!

Team Sports

Today at team sports the boys came down and played some softball and kickball.

From first period, Will's Team won, and Thomas Weiss was the MVP. From second period, Walker's Team won and the MVP was Jackson David. From third period, Lyle's team won, and the MVP was Will Webber. From fourth period, Jackson's team won, and the MVP was George Prince. The winner of the winna winna chicken dinna is Billy Slade.

Fun and Games

Today at fun and games the boys had a pickleball tournament.

From first period, the barking cats won. From second period, the Webbas won. From third period, The Pickles Wickles won, and from fourth period, the big steppas won. The winner of the ratta tatta hatta is Rhodes David.

Swimming

Today at swimming the boys came down and had stride jump and funny dive competitions.

From first period, honorable mentions go to Everett Lang and Tripp Gribbin, and the winners were Henry Echols and Maksym Cooper. From second period honorable mention goes to Corbin Laurie, and the winner was Deuce Mann. From third period, honorable mention goes to Camper Lavender and V Stokley, and the winners were Jackson Smith and Jackson David. From fourth period, Honorable mention goes to Hobbes Watson, and the Winner was Davis Lafon. The winners of the stride jump competition were Will Webber, Cooper Bounds, Paxton McGehee, and Drew Peele.

Riflery

Today at riflery the girls came down and shot some high scores and passed off some classes.

Today the boys came down to the Camp Mac fishing hole and caught a bunch of fish.

Putt Putt

Today G-3 went to the Camp Mac green and had a hole in one competition. The winner was Marian Lacy.

League Games

Today on court 1, Liles’ square floor tiles obliterated Hampton’s chicken jockeys in a tense game of newcomb. From Liles’ team, Charlie King played brilliantly, and from the chicken jockeys, Archer Green played amazing.

Today on the slippery court 2, Thomas' goats crushed Skyler’s fake mustaches. From Thomas’s team, Charles Scribner played precisely, and from the mustaches, Cary Coco skillfully played.

Today on the damp field one, Lyle’s Litty Lemurs outdid Hayden’s Hotdogs in a nail biting game of softball. From Lyle’s Litty Lemurs, Warner Shepard played like a young Allen McBride, and from Hayden’s Hotdogs, Henry David played strategically.

Today on the rusty field 2, the Sigmas outplayed Walker’s Runners in an intense game of softball. From the Sigmas, Charlie Bounds played brilliantly, and from the Runners, Fred Tyson played boldly.

Today on the wet soccer field, the Willy’s Wonkas swept the Walter's Walruses electric game of ultimate frisbee. From the Wonkas, Lachlan Huffman played like the best chocolate bar, and from the walruses, Gaines Kinney played sharply.

Today in the crowded dome, Smith’s Spectacular Snails surpassed Spencer’s Sheep in a fierce game of bombardment. From the Snails, William Delaney played outstandingly, and from the Sheep, Everett Welsh played strongly.

From the Dining Hall This morning we had sausage, eggs, pancakes, and grits.  For lunch, we had grilled cheese and chicken nuggets with cookies.  For Dinner, there was spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, and brownies.

Vespers

Tonight our vespers message was given by Crawford Badham. Daily Bible Reading Ribbons were also awarded tonight to six day campers who red their bible each night while they were at camp!

The juniors had tall tales, and the seniors had courts.
