Morning Activities

Fun and Games

Today at fun and games the girls had a pickleball tournament. From first period. Emi Tucker and Colette Haskell won, from second period Virginia Bell and Louise Williams won, from third period, Khaki Hitch and Lotte Hitch won, and from fourth period Katherine Stubbs and Bailey Simpson won. The winner of the ratta tatta hatta is Colette Haskell.

Team Sports

Today at team sports the girls played softball and kickball! The winner of the winna winna chicken dinner is Stella O'Neal.

Skiing

Today at skiing the girls came down and there were some first time skiers. Congratulations to Lillian Strother and Ella Warnke.

Swimming

Today at swimming the girls came down and had stride jump and funny dive competitions. From first period, the honorable mentions go to Reagan Bradshaw and Hannah Meadows, and the winners were Mirabel Perullo and Ida Hirsch. From second period, the winners were Parker Leatherbury and Lillian Rizk. From third period, honorable mention goes to Carlton Keathley and Colette Haskell, and the winners were Caroline Parks and Hannah Webber. From fourth period, Mary Jennings Gross won!

Today the boys came down and passed off classes and had some high scores.

Tramps

Today at tramps the boys came down and passed off some classes. Charlie Hunter passed off third class. Henry David, Jacob Miller, and Rhodes David passed off third, second, and first class. William Delaney and George Prince passed off third and second.

Fishing

Today at fishing, the boys went down to the camp mac fishing hole and caught some fish.

Tennis

Today at boys tennis they had a pickleball tournament, and the winners were Lochlan Huffman and John Weiss. They also had a keep up challenge and the winner was Goodwin Wos.

Today at the camp mac fishing hole, B-5 came down and caught some fish! Hobbs Watson and Charlie Moses both caught one!

League Games

Today on the energetic court 1, Scarlett’s Blue Champions outperformed Kate’s Kangaroos in a passionate game of newcomb. From the champions, Emmaline Manuel played powerfully, and from the kangaroos, Leyton Abt played flawlessly.

Court 2:
Today on the sweaty court 2, Alexia’s Amazing Animal Crackers took the dub on Addie’s Baddies in a tight game of newcomb. From the Animal Crackers, Caroline Parks played like a young Penelope Hudgins. And for the Paddles, Millie Rogers rocked.

Today on the Sarah Kate Field 1, Penelope’s Wickle Pickles outmaneuvered Olivia’s Olympians in a Sarah Kate game of softball. From the Pickles, Parker Latham played like a buff Sarah Kate, and from the Olympians, Lillie Pendleton played like Sarah Kate’s younger sister, Hadley Harris.

Today on the dusty court 2, Herrin’s Humongous Hippos dominated Lilly’s Laffy Taffys in an energetic game of softball. From the Hippos, Andi Turnipseed played like a hungry hippo, and from the Taffys Ellie Tucker played amazingly!

Today on the gnat infested soccer field, Kate’s Crazy Cougars clawed their way to victory against Vic’s Victorious Volcanos. From the Cougars, Helen Ann Coale played aggressively, & from the Volcanos, Francie Alias played great.

Gym:
Today in the sunny dome, Amelia’s Apples crushed Maggie Magenta Mermaids in an intense game of bombardment. From the Apples, Hannah Webber played like a champ. From the Mermaids, Anna Wibberly played flawlessly.

From the Dining Hall This morning we had bacon, eggs, biscuits, and grits.  For lunch, we had ham sandwiches, chips and cookies.  For Dinner, there was sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and egg rolls. 

Vespers

Tonight our vespers message was given by Sarah Kate Harris.

Tonight for Night Rec...

The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and the 7th and 8th Grade girls had swing dancing, and the rest of our senior term campers enjoyed the pool! The juniors had cabin competition.
