Riflery

Today at riflery, the boys came over, and we had some high scores and pass offs.

Camp Lavendar and Ross Shaw passed off Marksman. Rhodes David and Milo Means passed off Pro-Marksman.

Today at Upper Lake, we had some passoffs.

Swimming

Today at swimming, we did some competitions.

In first period, the funniest dives were Lucy David and Eleanor Alias.

In second period, the best yeehaws were Cadence Cross and Milla Roberts. Charlotte Bell and Hannah Webber were the runners-up for the stride jump competition, and the winner was Lucy Longo.

In third period, the best yeehaw was Walker Beatty. The best dive was Virginia Lavelle, and the funniest dive was Halo Sosebee.

In fourth period, the best yeehaw was Hadley Meyer. The runner-up of the stride jump competition was Parker Leatherbury, and the winner was Emi Tucker. The best dive was Mary Stewart Powe.

Fun and Games

Today at fun and games, we played sprouts.

The winner of the "ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta" was Cadence Cross!

Team Sports

Today at team sports, we played volleyball and newcomb.

In first period, the MVP was Hilary McLeod. In second period, the MVPs were Elliot Adams and Grace Inge. In third period, the MVPs were Jacqueline Stubbs and Everette Saucer. In fourth period, the MVPs were Lucy David and Lisee Johnson.

The winner of the winna-winna chicken dinna was Walker Beatty.

Adventure

Today at adventure, we did the Toxic Meltdown and Bull.

For the last man standing competition, Hannah Webber got third place, Emi Tucker got second place, and Ellie Tucker won.

The best yeehaw was Caroline Cooper.

Tennis & Pickleball

Today at girls' tennis and pickleball, we did a doubles pickleball tournament.

The winners of the first bracket were Milla Roberts and Cadence Cross. The winners of the second bracket were Amelia Fellows and Andi Turnipseed.

At boys' tennis, Everett Lang, Gaines Kinney, and Reeves Thagard all won a game of cricket in the cage. Gaines Kinney and Everett Lang won a game of doubles king of the court.

Fix-It

Today at fix-it, the boys went down to the riflery range and fixed three broken target pullies in under 30 minutes.

The girls did a wiring competition to see who could hook up a light switch outlet and light bulb together the fastest. The winners were Emma Ross, Parker Bristow, and Olivia Iverson with a time of 1:02.

League Games

Today on the sweaty field two, Mary Jennings' Jammers demolished Ashley's Amazing Fruits in an intense game of softball. From the Jammers, Sims Coleman played superbly. From the Fruits, Mary Lindsley Golden played like the ripest fruit.

Today on the happy-go-lucky field one, Mary Brook and Penelope's Mad Burning Peppers cooked Virginia's Venus Flytraps in a tense game of softball. From the Peppers, Harper Africk played like spiciest jalapeño. From the Flytraps, Bailey Simpson played like the hungriest trap in the garden.

Today in the windy gym, Maggie's Mystical Magical Mermaids destroyed Helen Ann's Hungry Horses in a suspenseful game of bombardment. From the Horses, Audrey Sheppard played neighfully, and from the Mermaids, Lily Williams played like the most mystical mermaid.

Today on the pristine court two, Charlie's Chickarickas overtook the Shower Caddies in an electrifying game of volleyball. From the Chickarickas, Helen Lacey played smartly. From the Shower Caddies, Linden Carley played squeaky clean.   Today on the cool court one, Louise's Luxurious Lobsters crushed Lily's Lovely Llamas in a skibidi game of volleyball. From the Lobsters, Carley Summers played the butteriest lobster from Red Lobster. From the Llamas, Alex Stokley played like Sarah Kate Harris in her prime.

From the Dining Hall This morning, we had bacon, eggs, biscuits, grits, and cereal. For lunch, we had taco salad with chips, lettuce, tomato, salsa, sour cream, and queso. For dessert, we had chocolate chip cookies. For dinner, we had hot dogs, beans, and chips. For dessert, we had s'mores. We also had our salad bar and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches available at lunch and dinner.

Tonight for Night Rec...

The mini and junior campers had cookouts, and the senior campers had campouts!
