11 Day Adventure Camp
for 7th & 8th Graders

Are you ready for a summer you’ll never forget?! Living inside the largest forest in Alabama with an adventure behind every tree you’ll make lifelong friends, challenge yourself with thrilling activities, and grow in ways that will change your life!

Imagine this – 

The sun peeks through the window and the gentle sound of the attic fan humming slowly wakes you up from the deep sleep you finally fell into after the excitement of finally getting to camp yesterday! You open your eyes to see a wood-paneled cabin and a bed you just slept in for the first time. 

You look around you and you see your friends. Friends you’ve known for years and friends you just met! It’s like waking up on Christmas morning knowing this will be a day you remember forever! But this time it’s not just a day – this is only the first day of the adventure of a lifetime! 

Every day will be the same – but different! And each day will bring memories all its own! For ten unbelievable, magical days you’re:

Horseback riding through the trees of the Talladega National Forest – the largest forest in Alabama! Hiking 7 miles alongside Cheaha Creek to Lake Chinnabee, which was built by the same CCC workers who lived at Camp Mac in the 1930s! Experiencing the thrill of waterskiing, kneeboarding, and wakeboarding right outside your door on Camp Mac’s private lakes! Jumping in at the bottom of Salt Creek Falls – the largest cascading waterfall in the state of Alabama! Navigating through the rapids in your kayak as you and your friends explore the wilderness surrounding Choccolocco Creek! Conquering Mount Cheaha by rappelling off the highest peak in Alabama! 

After lunch, you’ll bust Sporting Clays with your 20 gauge and slide down the 165 ft long Wet Willie Waterslide, bounce your friends off the Blob, and play on all the inflatables at the Camp Mac Water Park! Then, you and your best bud jump in your trail cart, drive through the woods and power your way through a big mudhole as the water sprays up and covers your helmet and goggles! 

In the evenings, your unforgettable nights consist of camping out at the Camp Mac Farm, where you fall asleep under the night sky after sharing stories over dinner and roasting S’mores over the campfire! Experience a Dive-In Movie and enjoy a show poolside, snacking on popcorn and swimming under the stars! Swing dance the night away at a Barn Dance in Camp Mac’s giant horseback arena! 

While you’re having a blast, you’ll also be developing essential life skills. Our experienced counselors will guide you through relationship-building exercises, problem-solving challenges, and more! You’ll gain wisdom and strength of character that will help prepare you for your life! The question isn’t, “What do you want to do when you grow up?” The question is, “Who do you want to be when you grow up?”
