Today we said goodbye to our 6-Day Campers. We hope they had fun and hope to see them next summer!

Morning Activities

Swimming

Today at swimming, the boys came down, and we did some relays and played some games.

For the Mavericks, Liles' team won the Campfire Relay.

For the Moonshiners, Ian's team and Liles' team tied the Campfire Relay. Charlie Bradford and Charles Scribner tied to win the Football Catching Competition.

For the Homesteaders, Beckett Collins' team won the Campfire Relay. The fastest slide times were Smith Rider with 5.62 seconds, John Collins with 5.32 seconds, and Beckett Collins with a whopping 5.19 seconds!

Riflery

Today at riflery, we had Shot in the Dark Day.

For the Mavericks, Cooper's Team won, which is Grace Ewigleben, Heidi Perlis, Kinley Marsh, Margaret Ragland, Megan Brigman, Sophie Mullins, Emmeline Thompson, and Hollieanna Farr.

For the Whippersnappers, Cooper's Team won with Addison Rebowe, Leila Wilson, Willa Bolt, and Alexa Opitz.

For the Moonshiners, Grace's Team won with Eleanore Ciaccio, Lizzy Grace Knowles, Lizzy Parker, and Westyn Horsley.

For the Homesteaders, Grace's Team won with Emma Smith, Frances Bradford, Julia Vandervoort, and Louise Crum.

Skiing

Today at skiing, we had four first-time skiers: Quinn McMillan, Bennett Petrunic, Grayson Gowan, and Charlie Coleman.

Fun and Games

Today at fun and games, the boys came down, and we played Sprouts!

The winner of the Ratta-Tatta-Ratta-Tatta Win a Big-Ole Cowboy Hatta... was Finn Henry!

Horseback

Today at horseback, the girls came over to the barn, and we rode some horses and played some tug-of-war.

In first period, Rory Hart and Frances Bradford won, and Julia Vandervoort was the runner-up. For the group rounds, the 'Happy Horses' and 'The Lovely Horses' won.

In second period, Kinley marsh and Carly Finger won. For the group rounds, 'Dabest' beat the 'Pwetty Pwetty Pwincesses,' and the 'Winning Oak Horses' beat 'The Horses.'

In third period, Rowan Pierce and Lillian Daigle won. For the group rounds, 'The Preppy Ponies' and 'The Cowgirls' won.

In fourth period, Eleanor Ciaccio and Lizzy Grace Knowles won. For the group rounds, 'The Unstoppable Girls' beat 'G.O.A.T.,' and 'Lizzy Grace's Champions' defeated 'The Wonderful Waves.'

Wilderness Skills

Today at Wilderness Skills, the girls came over, and we had a NasFrog Race.

In first period, Caroline Petrunic and Alexa Opitz won. In second period, Claire Green won. In third period, Rory Hart and Bri Shown won. In fourth period, Jane Hemphill and Leighton Mcbrearty won.

Electives

Toxic Meltdown (Wipeout)

Today at the Toxic Meltdown, G-4 came down and played a game of Last Man Standing. Our winners were Evie Northington, Violet Hemphill, and Lizzie Parker.

Cabin Time

Water Balloon Battlefield

Today at the Water Balloon Battlefield, Oak Ridge came and we did a water balloon toss. The winners were Jane Hemphill and Leighton McBrearty.

League Games

Today on the slippery field one, Richard the Chickens absolutely demolished Adam's Apes in an exhilarating game of neucomb. On the Apes, Spence Parker played smoothly. For the Chickens, Hampton Yates played like prime Hampton Long.

Today on the hot field one, Will's Wampus Cats took down Matt's Masters in a one-sided game of kickball. For the Wampus cats, Fulton Shreve played like a young Will Kell, and for the Masters, Beckett Colllins played like a young Will Vosburg.

Today on the gnat-infested field two, Kinney's Kool-Aid strategically surpassed Bo's Big Bucks in a heated game of kickball, From Kinney's Kool-Aid, Culver Burke played astronomically. From the Bucks, John Porter Collins played swell.

Vespers

Tonight, Hunter Dunn gave our vespers message.

From the Dining Hall This morning, we had sausage, eggs, donuts, grits, yogurt with fruit and granola, and cereal. For lunch, we had hot ham-and-Swiss sandwiches with lettuce and tomato, dill spears, and chips. We also had a salad bar and PB&Js. For dessert, we had chocolate chip cookies. For dinner, we had pizza and wings! We also had a salad bar and PB&Js. For dessert, we had ice cream.

Tonight for Night Rec...

The Junior campers had Talent Night, and the Adventure campers had a cookout at the Camp Mac farm!
