Morning Activities
Swimming
Today at swimming we had some treading water competitions! Our winners were, Charles Bounds, Barton Long, Camper Lavender, Coleman Hutt, and Goodwin Wos! We also had some Stride Jump Competitions and our winners were, Camper Lavender, Devlin Richter, and Joe Johnston.
Skiing
Today at Upper Lake Skiing we had a bunch of 1st time Skiers! Congratulations to Walker White, Joseph Hunter, Nolan Lawrie, John Weiss, and Fred Tyson! Dutch Sparks, Lawton Party, and Eli Bernstein all passed off 3rd class skiing! Tripp Gribbin passed off 2nd class skiing! Lawerence Lavender and Jim Klingler passed off 3rd class wakeboarding! Charlie Abenoja and Jim Klingler passed off 2nd class wakeboarding! Then Bennett Thagard passed off 3rd class kneeboarding!
Fun & Games
Today at Fun and Games, the boys played a round of disc golf! In 1st period, Ham Sosebee and Penton Davis tied with -9. In 2nd period, Thomas Clayand Will Webber tied with -10. In 3rd Period, Warner Shepard shot a -10. Finally in 4th period, Winn Samford shot -10.
The winner of the “ratta-tatta-ratta-tatta win a big ole cowboy hatta” was Everett Wos!
Riflery
Today at Riflery the girls came over and shot some high scores and passed off some classes! Hannah Webber shot a 26, Stella O’Neal shot a 26, Jacqueline Stubbs shot a 35, Lucy Longo shot a 29, Katherine Stubbs shot a 27, Sarah Grace Keadle shot a 28, Audrey Shepard passed off pro marksman, Annie Law shot a 26, Parker Leatherbury shot a 31, Mayson Ferris shot a 25, Addie Bradshaw shot a 27, Maggie Mcleod shot a 26 and passed off pro marksman, Herrin Tate shot a 26, Harper Africa shot a 30, Elizabeth Bernstein shot a 30, Helena Pryor shot a 31 and passed off marksman, Janie Hecker shot a 25, Charlie Jones shot a 28, Ashley Dickson shot a 28, Victoria Rizk shot a 36, and Katie Kirkpatrick shot a 25.
Wilderness Skills
Today the girls got to take their trip to High Falls! We had so much fun catching crawfish and salamanders at the base of the waterfall!
Team Sports
Today at Team Sports, the boys came over and played some Barnyard Bonanza! In first period the Blue Team won and the MVP was Lawerence Lavender! In 2nd period, the Red Team won and the MVP was Penton Davis. In 3rd period, Blue Team won and Hayden Wood was the MVP. In 4th period, The Blue Team won and Billy SLade was the MVP!
The winner of the “winna winna chicken dinna” was Suhaan Parcha!
Electives
Tennis
Today at girl’s tennis, we had a pickle ball tournament and Lily Smith won!
Mountain Biking
Our Mountain Biker of the week for last week was Ada Morton!
Tramps
Today at Boy’s Tramps, Fred Tyson, Goodwin Wos, and Charlie Abenoja all passed off 2nd class! Today at Girl’s Tramps, Lucy Longo passed off 1st class and Bella Mann passed off 2nd class!
Adventure
Today at girl’s adventure the girl’s played Balls Of Glory at the zip line, and Emmy Stewart won catching 9 balls!
Shooting Sports
Today at shooting sports the boys shot 50 clays! Erik Windness shot 33/50, George Sigman shot 30/50, Phillip Love shot 15/50, and Lyle Shehi shot 32/50.
Putt-Putt
Today at girl’s Putt-Putt we had a green and white tournament, and the white team won! Today at boy’s putt putt we had a hole in one competition and Jackson Horsely won!
Fishing
Today at Boy’s fishing, Michael Echols caught 1 fish, and Charles Bounds and Penton Davis both caught 2 fish!
League Games
Today on court 1, Bruce Champions took the win over Warren’s Underdogs! Paxton McGehee was the MVP for the Champions! For the Underdogs, Will Flanagan played like a young Mack Pinel!
On Court 2, the Alphas beat the Rizzlers. For the Rizzlers, Sanders Glanzer played swell! From the Alphas, James Fennell played like a beast!
Today on field 1, The Green Egg and Sam’s defeated Sam’s Sooners in a mind blowing game of softball! For the Eggs, John Weiss played like a young Paxton Gordon! For the Sooners, Lyle Shehi played fearlessly!
Today on the shady field 2, Spencer’s Shanghai Sheep upset Jimmy’s Jazzers in a heated game of softball! From the Sheep, Smith Wilbanks played swimmingly! From the Jazzers, Fred Tyson played like a young Babe Ruth!
Today on the soccer field, Walter’s Wizards faced off against Moody’s Musicians in an intense game of Ultimate Frisbee. From the Wizards, Dutch Sparks played dangerously good. From the Musicians, Eli Bernstein played like a young Mozart!
Today in the Camp Mac Gym, Skyler’s Sasquatches packed up Jack’s Jackhammers in a wild game of bombardment. From the Sasquatches, Charlie Sanders played like Bigfoot! From the Jackhammers, Grayson Smith played awesomely!
From the Dining Hall For Breakfast we had Bacon, Eggs, Toast, Grits, and Cereal! For lunch we had BBQ Haystacks! We also had a Salad Bar and PB&J Sandwiches. For dessert, we had Chocolate Chip Cookies. For Dinner we had Sweet and Sour Chicken, Fried Rice, and Egg Rolls! We also had a Salad Bar and PB&J Sandwiches. For dessert, we had Oreo Cake!
Vespers
Tonight our speaker was Ross Cummings!
Tonight for Night Rec...
Tonight our Jr Campers had Popcorn Night, our 7th and 8th graders had a swing dancing lesson! The rest of our Sr. campers played some bombardment!
